Terms of service
Last updated 17 October 2026. These terms cover the Narmo app (the phone web app today, and the iPhone and watch apps when they arrive), this website and the waitlist. By using Narmo, you accept them. How we handle your data is in the privacy notice.
The short version
- Narmo is in beta. It's free for now, it will change, and it can make mistakes.
- Narmo never sends, invites or changes anything without your approval. What you approve is yours.
- Your email stays yours. We use it only to do what you ask.
- No hidden fees. Cancel any time. Your legal rights as a consumer always apply.
Who we are
Narmo ("we") is run by its founders, Adam Melhem and Zahi Majzoub, while the company is being registered. Once it is, the company will take over these terms and we'll update this page. Contact: [email protected]. Our full details are in the legal notice below.
Who can use Narmo
- You must be 18 or over.
- Narmo is a work tool for adults. It isn't made for children, and you must not use it to handle children's personal data beyond what turns up in ordinary work email.
- You may only connect email and calendar accounts that are yours, or that you're allowed to use this way. If your employer manages your account, its rules apply too.
- Keep your devices and sign-in safe. Tell us straight away if you think someone else is using your account.
Narmo is in beta
Narmo is in private beta, by invitation. An invite link creates one account; testers can pass on the invites we give them, but not sell them. Features will change, some may disappear, and Narmo may be slow or unavailable at times. We don't promise that it will always work, or work without errors.
Narmo uses AI, which can misunderstand you or get facts wrong. Always read a draft, invite or change before you approve it. Don't rely on Narmo for anything urgent, safety critical or where a mistake could seriously harm you or someone else.
You approve everything
Narmo never sends an email, sends an invite or changes a meeting until you approve it, by tapping or by saying "send". If Narmo isn't sure what it heard, nothing is sent.
Once you approve something, it's sent from your account, as if you had written it yourself. You're responsible for what you approve, just as you are for any email you send. Narmo only tells you it's done once Outlook or Gmail confirms it.
Using Narmo fairly
Please don't use Narmo to:
- send spam, or messages people haven't asked for in bulk;
- harass, threaten, deceive or impersonate anyone;
- send or store anything illegal, or break anyone's rights, including privacy and copyright;
- break the rules of Google, Microsoft or any service you connect;
- get around plan limits or security, overload our systems, or copy or scrape the service;
- take Narmo apart or copy its code, except where the law allows it.
If you do, we may limit or close your account (see ending your account).
Your data
Your email, calendar, drafts and everything else you put into Narmo stay yours. You let us use them only to run Narmo for you, as described in the privacy notice. We don't sell them, show you ads, or use them to train AI models.
If you send us ideas or feedback, we may use them to improve Narmo, with no obligation to you. Thank you.
Plans, the free trial and the founding price
- During the beta, Narmo is free, and everyone gets Pro.
- When plans launch, there will be two: Free (every feature, 20 actions a month, up to 15 requests a day) and Pro (a monthly subscription with higher limits). An action is something Narmo does for you, such as an email sent, an invite sent or a meeting moved.
- Free trial: every new account starts with 14 days of Pro, free, with no card needed. When it ends, your account moves to Free automatically. Nothing is charged unless you choose Pro.
- Founding members: if you joined the waitlist, or you were one of the first 100 people to create an account, you get 30% off the Pro price for as long as you stay on Pro. If you cancel and come back later, the normal price applies.
- Prices on the website are planned prices. We're still testing them, so different visitors may see different prices. Before you pay anything, you'll see the exact price and what it includes, and you choose whether to go ahead.
Payments and refunds
We aren't charging anyone yet. Billing isn't switched on during the beta. When it is, these rules apply:
- No hidden fees. The price you see is the price you pay. It includes VAT where VAT applies. There are no setup, cancellation or other fees.
- Monthly, cancel any time. Pro renews each month until you cancel. When you cancel, you keep Pro until the end of the month you've paid for, then move to Free. Nothing more is charged.
- Bought in the App Store: Apple handles the payment, cancellation and refunds, under its own rules. Cancel in your Apple account's subscriptions, and ask Apple for a refund at reportaproblem.apple.com.
- Bought on our website: if you live in the European Union, you can withdraw within 14 days of buying, without giving a reason. Email [email protected] from your account's address and say that you want to withdraw. We'll refund you within 14 days, to the same payment method. If you asked to start Pro straight away and used it during those 14 days, we may keep a share of the price for the days you had it, as the law allows.
- Something wrong with a charge? Write to us. If we charged you by mistake, we'll refund it.
If we change the price of your plan, we'll tell you at least 30 days before, and you can cancel before the new price applies. The founding discount stays while you stay on Pro.
Ending your account
- You can stop at any time. Disconnect your mailbox, or delete your account in the app, under You, then Account. Deleting removes everything we store about you. See deleting your data.
- We may suspend or close an account that breaks these terms, puts other people or Narmo at risk, or where the law requires it. Unless it's urgent or the law stops us, we'll tell you first and explain why, and you can reply.
- If we end the beta or close Narmo, we'll tell you in good time, so you can download your data. If you've paid for time you can no longer use, we'll refund it.
Our responsibility
We build and run Narmo with reasonable care and skill. We are responsible for harm we cause by breaking these terms or by our negligence, where that harm was foreseeable.
We are not responsible for:
- what you approve and send, or what other people do with it;
- outages or changes at Google, Microsoft, Apple or other services you connect;
- events outside our reasonable control.
If you use Narmo for a business, we are not responsible for indirect losses such as lost profit, business or data, and our total responsibility to you is limited to what you paid us in the 12 months before the claim, or €100 if that's more.
Nothing in these terms limits our responsibility for death or personal injury caused by our negligence, for fraud, for harm we cause on purpose or through gross negligence, or anything else the law doesn't allow us to limit. And nothing here takes away your rights as a consumer, including your legal guarantees on digital content and services.
Changes to these terms
We may update these terms as Narmo grows, for example when billing starts or the company is registered. For important changes, we'll tell you in the app or by email at least 30 days before they apply. If you don't agree, you can stop using Narmo and delete your account before then. Changes never apply to the past.
Law and disputes
If something goes wrong, please write to us first at [email protected]. Most problems can be solved quickly by email.
These terms are governed by Swiss law. The UN Convention on Contracts for the International Sale of Goods does not apply.
If you are a consumer, you always keep the protection of the mandatory consumer law of the country where you live, and you can bring a claim before the courts there. Otherwise, the courts in Switzerland have jurisdiction.
